Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it last on my skin?

Our 50ml Eau de Parfum is high-concentration (20% fragrance oil), so most customers get at least up to 8 hours of wear, longer on hair and clothes than on skin. Expect strong projection for the first 2–3 hours, then it settles into a closer, more personal scent. Heavier scents (oud, vanilla, woody) generally last longer than fresh/citrus scents.

Will I smell like everyone else?

No. While many of these original designer fragrances are well-known internationally, very few people in South Africa wear them daily. You'll be the one people stop to ask "what are you wearing?".

Is the bottle and packaging premium?

Yes, Glass 50ml bottles with a clean, considered label. Designed to feel good on a dresser, not to win packaging awards. We deliberately put our budget into what's inside the bottle, not designer-level marketing.

What if I don't love it?

Tell us within 14 days and we'll make it right, refund or swap for a different scent We don't want you stuck with a perfume you won't wear. Just reply to your order email or message us via WhatsApp.

Will it really smell like the original?

Yes, with one honest note. We use the same scent oils, structured the same way as the original — top, heart, and base notes. The opening is nearly identical. As the dry-down develops, you may notice ours feels slightly less complex than a R3,000–R5,000 designer version (which can use 30+ ingredients in microscopic ratios). Most customers can't tell the difference once it settles. A few experienced fragrance collectors can.

How is this different from cheaper "inspired by" perfumes I've seen? Concentration. Our oils are 20% — true Eau de Parfum strength. Many cheaper dupes use 10–15% concentration (Eau de Toilette or weaker), which is why they fade in 60–90 minutes. Ours behaves the way the original does: a real 6–8 hour wear, with proper projection.

Are these safe for sensitive skin?

Our perfumes use the same alcohol-and-fragrance-oil base as commercial designer perfumes. As with any fragrance, we recommend testing on your wrist first. If you have known fragrance sensitivities, message us before ordering and we'll guide you to gentler options in our range.

Do you ship outside South Africa?

South African delivery is our focus — free shipping over R500 and 2–4 business day delivery to major cities. International shipping is available on request; reply to any order email to ask.

What if it arrives damaged?

We pack carefully and use protective wrapping, but if anything arrives damaged, send us a photo within 7 days and we'll replace it free of charge. No back-and-forth.

Picture a sunlit Brazilian beach at golden hour. The air is warm and filled with the sweet, nutty aroma of pistachio and almond, like a creamy dessert. Tropical flowers like heliotrope and jasmine bloom nearby, their soft, powdery scent mingling with the salty sea breeze. In the background, the cozy warmth of vanilla and caramel wraps around you like a soft blanket, while sandalwood adds a subtle earthy depth. The scene is vibrant, inviting, and irresistibly sweet—perfectly capturing the essence of Brazilian Crush.

Hand poured in South Africa. This candle has a bamboo lid that can be used as a beautiful base whilst burning your candle, and then as a guard against dirt and dust between burns.  The container can be repurposed once your candle has finished.

The candle comes in two sizes:   200ml (with a burn of  18- 24 hours) and 150ml size (which burns for 13.5 - 19 hours)

Candle Safety

  1. Place your candle on a level surface. If your candle is not on a level surface, it will burn unevenly, reducing the overall burn time.
  2. Place your candle in a draft free location. If your candle is not in a draft free location, the flame can be dangerous, but it will also cause an improper burn which can lead to soot deposits and/or reduction of overall burn time.
  3. Never leave a candle unsupervised. Choose where you burn your candle carefully keeping the flame away from drafts, curtains, papers and other flammable items around the home.
  4. Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.
  5. Protect your furnishings from the heat. Scented candles can become quite hot after burning for more than 3 hours. So ensure candles are placed on a heat resistant surface.
  6. Remove candles from their packaging and discard all labels before burning.
  7. Never let your candle burn right down to the base of the glass as this can cause the glass to shatter, always leave at least 1cm of wax in the base of the glass.

Lighting Your Candle

The first time you use your new candle, burn for at least 2-3 hours, allowing the wax to burn evenly across the surface this will give you maximum fragrance and an even burn. Scented candles develop a ‘burn memory’ and a candle that has not been burnt right to the edges on its initial use, will ‘tunnel’ and burn unevenly through the centre of the wax.

Trim the wick

  1. Always trim your wick to about 0.6cm before you re-light your candle.
  2. If you do not trim the wick regularly, if the candle is in a draft or is left to burn too long you may get a “mushroom” of carbon on the end of the wick. This may cause some soot to collect on the inside of the container. If this happens, extinguish your candle, wait for it to cool, wipe off the carbon marks with a clean damp cloth and re-light.
  3. When trimming the wick, be certain to remove all burned wick matter.
  4. Never drop matches or other foreign objects into candles.
  5. Never burn a candle for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
  6. Be sure to not over trim the wick. If the wick is too short it will result in too small of a flame and the melt pool will not reach the edges of the container.

Extinguishing Your Candle

  1. When extinguishing your candle, never blow out the flame. This can not only damage the candle, but will also taint your beautifully scented room with the smell of smoke!
  2. Extinguish your candle by dipping the wick into the melted wax and straighten. This will stop the wick smoking and will help with re-lighting the next time.
